National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP)

aim-higher-logoThe National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) is a national initiative aiming to double the proportion of disadvantaged students entering higher education by 2020.  The programme is funded by Higher Education Funding Council England (HEFCE).

NCOP work will focus on activities in areas where progression of young people to higher education is very low, despite relatively high GCSE outcomes. The University is working in collaboration with 5 universities and 13 FE colleges intensifying Outreach work in 25 wards across Birmingham, Solihull, Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Sandwell, through the AimHigher Plus partnership.
