2021 Open Days - Content Hub

Welcome to our 2021 Open Days Content Hub! Here you can prepare for your visit, explore campus online before you visit, find out more from our current students and watch subject talks from the departments you're interested in ahead of your physical Undergraduate Open Day on campus.

Birmingham really is the best of both worlds - a green and spacious campus university just minutes from the hustle and bustle of the UK's second city. We can't wait to welcome you to our campus so you can see it for yourself. Before you visit, why not use our virtual tour to get a feel for what it's like to be on campus via a bird's eye view.

For our summer events, to keep everyone safe we are delivering subject talks online to help you understand more about the courses on offer here at the University of Birmingham. We recommend watching these videos before you visit, and you can simply click on the department links below to access the content relevant to you. You can speak to our staff and students on the day of your event should you need to ask any follow-up questions after you've seen the talks.

We know you might have questions about what to expect on the day of your visit. A page with FAQ's is available for you to check out, and if you have any further questions please do get in touch with the team who will be happy to help.

We've also got lots of other digital content for you to explore to find out more about Birmingham. Explore this page and hear more from our students, check out their blogs on topics such as why they chose Birmingham, what student accommodation is really like, and much more!

Our student accommodation allows you to enjoy your independence in safe, welcoming and sociable surroundings - a true place to call home. When you visit us you can explore the Vale Village and see the environment you will be living in. Unfortunately government guidance won't allow us to show you the inside of the rooms that you may live in at the moment, but you can virtually explore the different types of rooms available at a number of our accommodation sites.

One of the most important things that you’ll need to learn as a student is how to manage your money. Knowing that your finances are under control means that you can relax, concentrate on your studies and fully enjoy your time here at Birmingham.
