Professor Michael Dobson, Director of the Shakespeare Institute and Professor of Shakespeare Studies at the University will deliver an illustrated lecture exploring some of the ways in which Shakespeare has both defined and troubled the theatre’s sense of mission over the last two hundred years, whether regionally or nationally.
