With a rise in the number of books being written by a ghostwriter, this talk will look at the advantages to being in a growing industry, as well as the pitfalls to watch out for.

Alumnus Emma Donnan has ghostwritten dozens of books, from the best-selling autobiographies of celebrities in popular culture, to the private memoirs of millionaires.

She will discuss life as a ghostwriter, the expectations and process, and give revealing anecdotes of her own experiences. The session will also look at finding subjects for books, getting an agent, and how aspiring ghosts can enter the industry in the first place.
