Digital is meant to be doing something. Making media digital, digitising information, using digital devices, putting things into the cloud, going online, this is meant to be changing us, changing our stuff, changing our world. But the effects of the digital, what digital means and what it does, can be hard to pin down.

In this session Lecturer Dr Matt Hayler will look at three examples from digital media, digital culture, and the physical body in a digital world in order to think about what might have changed, by how much, why digitisation changed it, and why we might care.
