In the School of History and Cultures my job is to further develop the inclusive student community. I will do this by working with students and colleagues to run an annual programme of activities like student workshops and conferences, trips, research and social events. I will also work on planning and promoting employability activities, induction and re-induction (including things like co-ordinating student mentoring schemes and planning ‘Focus on Finals’ workshops). I also work on a range of student friendly communications like newsletters, social media platforms (linked above) and Canvas sites. Collecting and responding to student feedback underpins most (if not all) of this work, including that received through Staff Student Committees, student surveys and module evaluation.
