During the summer of 2014 a number of projects were established during which undergraduate students from across the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences worked with academic members of staff on educational enhancement activities.  This approach demonstrates how staff and student can work collaboratively to enhance the student educational experience and the model forms a particularly effective one for successfully undertaking project based activities.

This seminar will provide delegates with the opportunity to learn more about the range of projects that were undertaken and to see the outcomes and outputs that emerged; in doing so this will demonstrate the impact and effectiveness of the approach.  The session will be led by students interns and staff members are encouraged to attend in order to hear how this approach can help undergraduate students enhanced their wider skills. In addition, there will be an opportunity to discuss and explore the use of student internship as a model of working on a range of educational enhancement and research activities.

A buffet lunch available will be available from 12.15 p.m.

There is no charge for attending this event however, registration is essential for catering and accommodation purposes.
