Henda Grion

MEng Electronic and Electrical Engineering, 2020
Graduate Engineer, Siemens Mobility

Originally from Angola, Henda came to the UK in 2015 to pursue her higher education. She began with a Foundation Year in Cambridge, and joined the University of Birmingham to do an integrated undergraduate Masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in 2016.

In this video, which she filmed herself during the COVID-19 lockdown, Henda shares some of the experiences she gained while studying at Birmingham. She decided to take herself out of her comfort zone to try many new activities and network with other students. This step helped shape her into the person so is today.

She also describes some of her favourite places and 'beautiful moments' she had on campus which to her, made the University her home.
