Nuclear Engineering

Nuclear EngineeringThe UK is embarking on an ambitious plan to solve our energy problems with a combination of nuclear and renewable power. In addition, a number of nuclear power plants need to be decommissioned and nuclear waste needs to be stored safely for hundreds of years. This is a job for nuclear engineers and it is one of the biggest challenges we face as a society. As a nuclear engineer, you will have a central role in ensuring our way of life is preserved for centuries to come.

We are lucky enough to have our own particle accelerators on campus.
