Our Discovery Day aims to motivate Year 10 students to strive for excellent GCSE grades, enabling them to make informed subject choices for sixth form. This, in turn, facilitates the pursuit of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at university level.
Date: Wednesday 19 June 2024.
Location: Old Engineering Building / Mechanical Engineering Building (Y3 on campus map).
Time: 09:45-14:30 with arrivals and registration from 09:00. For schools that opt-in for campus tours, the event will finish at 15:00.
Registration of interest for this event has now closed. If you have registered interest, you will be notified via email by Wednesday 10 April if you have a place on the event or not.
About Discovery Day
Discovery Day offers Year 10 students the chance to delve into diverse subjects within the College of Engineering & Physical Sciences, introducing them to areas they may not have encountered yet. The event features interactive workshops, enlightening talks, and campus tours for schools who opt-in.
