Why did you originally apply to do your chosen course at Birmingham?

After finishing my undergraduate degree and working for a year at a software development company, I felt the urge to further my education. The University of Birmingham was a logical choice due to the course structure, its central location in the West Midlands - allowing for day trips all over the UK - and beautiful campus.

What do you think are the best points of your course?

Having the freedom to do both research oriented modules as well as taught modules, gives me the opportunity to focus on topics I was already familiar with and additionally learn about other areas of computer science.

What is the best thing about studying at the University of Birmingham?

The beautiful campus is second to none, and Birmingham's position in the UK allows for various day trip opportunities.

What advice would you give to studying thinking about studying on the course?

While the thought of doing a masters might sound intimidating and difficult, it is definitely not an opportunity to be missed for anyone who is looking to further their education, especially if you get the chance to study at the University of Birmingham.
