Day In The Life

What happens during the average day?

Every day with us is different. You could start your day by learning from staff that are making a real difference to the world, or you might be undertaking an in-depth study to find new solutions to current problems. After that, you may be finding out what casting steel looks like, or navigating and programming robots.

Plus, we offer so much more than a degree. Outside of labs, lectures and tutorials, there are numerous opportunities to get involved: joining in your departmental society, trying a new sport, or even designing and building a race car.

By joining us, you'll receive an unparalleled student experience that combines hands-on learning with a chance to do what you really enjoy. Watch our day in the life films to understand how you could shape your time with us, or read our current student profiles to understand why they love studying with us too.
