Kashif RajpootWhat got you interested in the subject area of computer science?

For me, the most interesting aspect of computer science is due to the ability of computers to develop solutions for automating a variety of tedious and challenging tasks (e.g. cancer diagnosis).

Who do you admire within your field and why?

I have always been inspired by Alan Turing, the father of Artificial Intelligence, due to the magnitude of his contributions to the field and the lasting impact it has made for the coming decades and centuries.

What do you think is the future for computer science?

I feel that computer science and artificial intelligence will increasingly merge where computer science will largely be known for its ability of 'intelligent  automation'.

What are you looking forward to the most about the campus in Dubai?

The dynamic experience of working with international colleagues as well international students in a truly global city.
