Why did you apply to the University of Birmingham?

I chose to apply to The University of Birmingham because of it's reputation among the United Kingdom’s universities. I feel lucky that my home university is one that has UoB as an overseas partner, which provided me with an opportunity to study here.

What are the best points of your course?

One of the best points of the course is that we have use of a lot of facilities, such as laboratories and libraries and we can access these as we please, to help us do our study and research.

What’s the best thing about studying at the University of Birmingham?

The best thing about studying at the University of Birmingham is that it allows me to communicate more with other people from different backgrounds and cultures.

What's the highlight of your time here so far?  

A highlight of my time here so far has been the festive holiday period when there was a lot of Christmas events throughout December.

What advice would you give to other international students?

My advice to other international students is to find events outside of university to get involved in, as there are various events to take your mind off studying.

What do you like most about the city?

One of things I like most about Birmingham is that it is neither crowded nor a quiet city. It is a perfect place for students that want a calm place.

How do you feel you have benefitted from the experience of studying in the UK?

I have benefitted from the experience of studying in the UK because I I have learnt how to be more independent as living away from home forces you to take care of yourself.
