We have three new postgraduate programmes starting in Autumn 2017. 

MSc Bioinformatics

This course will place students at the forefront of the recent genomics and bioinformatics revolution now driving precision medicine. This cross-college, interdisciplinary programme, draws on expertise from a range of academic staff working within the College of Medical and Dental Sciences and College of Life and Environmental Sciences, with access to the University of Birmingham’s cutting edge facilities.

MSc Advanced Practice in Healthcare

Developing the research skills and clinical expertise of healthcare professionals across the globe. This is a multi-professional programme  enabling students to advance their practice and  develop skills essential to the role of the  advanced practitioner and clinical team leader.  The opportunity to choose from a wide range of  optional modules will allow students to explore and advance their specialist area of practice.  Students will benefit from knowledge provided by experienced clinical academics and  researchers with theoretical and practical  sessions delivered in world-class learning  facilities.

MSc Restorative Dentistry

Designed for dentists wishing to enhance quality, predictability and enjoyment when managing restorative cases in a wide range of subject areas. This innovative two-year, blended learning programme uses Birmingham Dental School’s state-of-the-art, award –winning, e-learning technology to deliver a flexible, interactive, advanced training programme suitable for both UK and international dentists at all stages of their clinical careers.
