Physician Associate PGDip, full-time

I made the career change to being a Physician Associate at a late point. It was a brilliant move.

What have you been doing since you graduated from the Physician Associate programme?

I’ve spent the last year working in vascular and colorectal surgery (Mid Yorks) being responsible for admission preparations for investigations and surgery of elective patients. I really enjoyed how my role expanded over the year as I learnt new skills.

What are you doing now?

At the moment I’m working in Nuneaton with a ‘respiratory team’ having just moved from an admission unit, it’s good to be involved in the recovery phase of a patient's stay in hospital.I really enjoy being part of a team and every day I learn something new.
