Paul Burstow, Professor of Mental Health Policy, has over a quarter of a century of public policy experience, covering local government, health and social care. He served as the Minister of State for Care Services between May 2010 and September 2012 during which time he was responsible for developing the government's mental health strategy, 'No Health Without Mental Health'. He also crafted the legislation that became the Care Act in 2014.
