Researchers: how to raise your research profile

The Library is running a series of four awareness-raising sessions to support early, mid and later-career researchers at every stage of the research process.

The sessions will be of interest to all researchers and staff who support them. The sessions will be held in the Main Library Training Room on Wednesdays, 2.00pm-4.00pm* and there will be time for questions and hands-on practice at the end of the session. The programme is as follows:

Wednesday 7 November 2012

Publishing Strategies: Choosing the right journals for you. Gerald Watkins (this session will run 2.00pm – 3.00pm)

Wednesday 14 November 2012

New publishing models: Extending reach through UBIRA, Open Access and beyond. Tracy Kent

Wednesday 21 November 2012

Bibliometrics: What can you measure and how? Linda Norbury

Wednesday 28 November 2012
