Architecture, Security and Innovation

The architecture, security and innovation team takes a holistic view of the University and its use of information and technology in achieving business goals, balancing risk management against benefits realisation and return on investment.


  • Architecture - develop IT strategy and architecture using systematic methods to define baseline and target operating models together with policies,standards, principles and processes that help drive investment in technology and information to achieve strategic goals and manage risk.
  • Security - define, operate and monitor a system for information security management including policies, standards, principles and controls thatprotect the University’s information and keep the impact and occurrence of information security incidents within defined tolerance levels.
  • Innovation - identify emerging hardware, software and communications technology, products, services and methods; evaluate their relevance andpotential value; promote and support adoption and benefits realisation.
