Find out about the USE-IT! Project, which is empowering local people to get involved in the regeneration and development of their neighbourhoods through community research.

Hosted by Dr Peter Lee

This event will feature an exhibition and a series of activities showcasing how the project is helping to address the pressing social issues that are affecting local communities, such as the legacy of the 2022 Commonwealth Games, childhood obesity and the Windrush scandal.

Attendees will be able to: discover what tools and support are available in setting up a community research social enterprise; find out how they might become a community researcher, and learn how the University of Birmingham could help them to develop their research skills.

Come along and join Birmingham residents and academics to develop ideas to address some of the most fundamental issues affecting the future of our cities.
