Framing Climate Change

This event will introduce an international experiment that tests whether framing climate change as an opportunity vs threat; an environmental vs health vs economic issue; now vs in the future; personal vs global; makes people more or less likely to support climate change policies.

During the session our expert panel and audience will be invited to take part in a live version of the experiment and reflect on their interpretations and what they and others can do.

On the panel

  • Professor David Hudson (University of Birmingham)
  • Dr Niheer Dasandi (University of Birmingham)
  • Camilla Tham (Natural History Museum)

This event is part of the ESRC Festival of Social Sciences. Spanning the month of November a range of interactive virtual and physical events will be free and open to the public - find out more about our other events as we discuss Our Changing World!
