Visiting Campus

Although you are learning at a distance, many students will choose to visit campus, whether as part of their course or just for leisure. Our distance learning students are always welcome to visit.

Welcome Week

The University-wide Welcome events in September are open to all, and your School may also have opportunities for you to visit. Visit the Welcome website from mid-August to build your personal timetable!

Visiting your School

There may be opportunities to visit your School and participate in events they hold - contact them directly for more information. University events, including those open to the public, are listed on our events page.

Staying over

If you're looking to stay over on your visit, why not stay right here on campus - University of Birmingham Conferences & Events offer a range of on-campus accommodation throughout the year.

Make a day of it

There's plenty to see and do both on campus and in the city, from museums and galleries to shopping and the world-famous canals! Why not extend your visit to take in some of the sights?

Visiting from overseas?

If you are an international student looking to visit campus, you will need to make sure you have the appropriate visa. The International Students' Advisory Service (ISAS) will be able to advise you.
