The University of Birmingham welcomes applications from students from the Palestinian Territories. A growing number of Palestinian students are studying undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at Birmingham in a range of disciplines.

Entry requirements

The following information is for guidance only and should be used together with the University's general entrance requirements and any specific degree programme requirements. 

Birmingham Foundation Academy

Applicants to the Foundation Academy will require an average of 85% in the Tawijihi (Secondary School Leaving Certificate), to include 85% in Mathematics for our Engineering and Physical Sciences pathway.

Undergraduate

The University will consider students who have taken GCE A Level examinations, the International Baccalaureate (IB), or a suitable foundation programme, such as the Birmingham Foundation Academy, for entrance to undergraduate programmes. 

Postgraduate

Students who have completed a first degree equivalent to a UK honours degree will normally be considered for admission onto a Masters degree.


English Language

You may be required to provide evidence of your English ability. Please view the entry requirements for specific programme requirements.
