Student societies
Many nationality groups form student societies during their time at the University of Birmingham. This is an excellent way to keep in contact with home and also provides an opportunity to highlight your culture and customs in the UK. Student societies are also a useful point of contact for prospective students to Birmingham who may want to contact current students for information.

The University of Birmingham is located on a lively place, so I can concentrate on studying during the week, and enjoy the British life over the weekend. As for my course, MA TEFL/TESL, classmates are full of diversity such as nationalities, teaching experience or other cultural backgrounds. Although the course is hard for me because I have less experience as a teacher, I am highly motivated to keep up with classmates in every class.
バーミンガム大学は生徒たちにとって勉強のオン・オフをつけやすい場所に位置していて、平日は勉学に励み、休日は英国生活を楽しむことができます。私の所属しているMA TEFL/TESLコースの生徒たちは国籍や教師としての職務経験等、多様性に富んでいます。教師としての経験が少ない私にとって大変なこともありますが、毎回の授業でクラスメイトについていけるように日々刺激されています。
