“Anansi Life” is an event designed to commemorate and represent experiences of black people through open mic performances, arts and discussion through poetry, music, and storytelling to celebrate and address what being black means and using arts to present stories from the past and present, while encouraging hopes and thoughts for the future within a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
