Dubai Campus Events

Dubai Campus will be hosting a range of events during Black History Month. 

We encourage staff and students to try and participate where they can.  Further details and dates to follow or contact the event organiser.

• Cross-campus book club: 'Maybe I Don’t Belong Here', by David Harewood. Throughout the month of October starting from Week 1 - Open to all Dubai staff and students
• Panel career session 'Successful and Black in the UAE' – Week 2
• BHM staff quiz (11th October) – Week 2
• 'Talking about Race in Higher Education in the UAE".'A round-table discussion with academic and Professional Services staff, facilitated by the  cultural consultancy firm Barker-Langham - Week 3
• Poetry recital (scheduled and open-mic), with African and Caribbean food  – Week 4 - Open to all Dubai staff and students
