EGU2016 took place in April in the beautiful city of Vienna. This year’s General Assembly theme, Active Planet, aimed to explore the impact of human activities on the outer shell of our planet through lectures, group activities, competitions and movies shown in the Geo Cinema. The event was well attended and many INTERFACES colleagues welcomed the opportunity to participate. Congratulations go to Amaia Marruedo, Karlie McDonald, Marta Antonelli and Viktor Baranov who exhibited poster presentations to the 13,650 scientists from 109 different countries.
