After graduating Graeme worked as a research assistant before starting a career in the Further Education sector teaching on Access to Higher Education courses, including the Foundation Programme for psychology at Aston university before joining the School of Continuing Studies and then the School of Education.

He is a member of the Society for Chaos in Psychology and Life Sciences (SCPLS).

Main teaching duties are undergraduate modules covering introduction to psychology, child development, social psychology and cultural psychology.
