Human Evolution, Adaptation and Behaviour

Description

The major aims of this module are to introduce students to 1) the key features that have guided human evolution over the last 5 million years (including the evolution of bipedalism, culture, large brain size, diet, and language) and 2) human adaptations and behaviour to demonstate that modern humans have been subject to the same evolutionary processes as the rest of the animal kingdom.
