I joined the University of Birmingham in 2009 as an undergraduate student, before which I lived in Southern Italy and in New York City. I have teaching experience spanning five years and have been a Visiting Lecturer in the Birmingham Business School. I have also volunteered extensively for radical and transformational causes.

I am an Executive Committee Member of the Conference of Socialist Economists and “Behind the News” Editor for its journal Capital & Class. I am also a member of CSE’s Midlands branch, which organises lively talks and events on a regular basis (see https://csemidlands.wordpress.com/). I have also been Secretary of the University of Birmingham branch of the University and College Union (UCU), Anti-casualisation Officer and Chair of West Midland’s UCU Higher Education Committee. I am a member of the UK Labour Party.
