The University of Birmingham Researching Africa Day 2017 on Wednesday 20 September has been organised this year by Professor Nic Cheeseman in the International Development Department.

The idea behind the day is to link up researchers working on Africa across UoB and in the West Midlands, and to find out more about each other's research. Speakers will discuss a range of subjects, from African agency, the Sustainable Development Goals and gender and identity, to interdisciplinarity in Africanist research, so please do come along to hear more about their research.

Researching Africa Day is free to attend and open to all but due to popular demand please make sure that you reserve a space by emailing Professor Nic Cheeseman N.Cheeseman@bham.ac.uk  with the subject RAD 2017.

Lunch and coffee will be provided.
