Students discussing lecture notesModule leader: Dr Julian Lonbay

Module description:

This module examines some of the most important duties imposed, and rights conferred, on Member States, businesses and individuals under the Treaties establishing the European Union. Building on Legal Foundations of the European Union, it examines aspects of the law relating to freedom of movement in the European Union and the competition rules laid down in the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, as well as the procedure for enforcing those rules.

The optional modules listed on the website for this programme may unfortunately occasionally be subject to change. As you will appreciate key members of staff may leave the University and this necessitates a review of the modules that are offered. Where the module is no longer available we will let you know as soon as we can and help you make other choices.
