Corneliu Hoffman is a Senior Lecturer in Mathematics. His research interests include group theory, representation theory, Hopf algebras and Galois theory.
Corneliu Hoffman obtained his Bsc in Mathematics from the University of Bucharest in 1993 and his PhD from the University of Southern California. Prior to moving to Birmingham held academic positions at the University of California Irvine, and The Mathematical Research Institute in Berkeley and Bowling Green State University in the USA.
