Registrar and Secretary's Office


The Registrar and Secretary, Mr Lee Sanders, is the University’s Chief Operating Officer, responsible for Professional Services.

Lee is a member of the University Executive Board and is involved in University strategy and policy, providing advice to the Vice-Chancellor and other senior colleagues. As Secretary to the Senate and Council, he is responsible for University governance. Lee is involved in national and international work in Higher Education. He is currently Chair of the Association of Heads of University Administration and a member of the UK-Sweden Registrar’s Group.

The Registrar and Secretary’s Office supports these activities. The Assistant Secretary, Colette McDonough, works with the Registrar to support university governance, and the Assistant Registrar (Executive Support), Mark Senior works closely with the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar on strategic projects. Mark also oversees the University's Strategic Change team, responsible for leading and supporting a range of change management and process improvement projects across the University.

The Registrar and Secretary’s Office is co-located with the Vice-Chancellor’s Office and works closely with the Vice-Chancellor, Provost and Vice-Principal and the Pro-Vice Chancellors.
