Wednesday 25 November 2020 (17:45-19:15)

Join us for an exclusive online discussion, “Bright Minds In Birmingham,” on Wednesday 25 November. Birmingham was founded on the belief that university education should be available to those who could benefit most, and your contributions continue to enable this to become a reality. During these strange and extraordinary times, we are even more committed to ensuring that a student’s personal circumstance does not hinder their ability to succeed at university.

The event will be an opportunity for you to hear first-hand about the University’s commitment to student support.

You will hear from Gavin Maggs (Director of DARO), Gail Rothnie MBE (Head of Outreach), Leanne Campbell (Student Success Officer), two A2B students, and a recent A2B graduate. They will tell the story of how the University supports our students: from why and how we run the Pathways to Birmingham programme to the direct impact it has on students during their studies and after graduation. Following the discussion, you will be invited to ask your questions to the panel.

The event will be hosted on Zoom and questions are welcome in advance or at the event.

This event is by invitation only. For more information please contact the alumni events team.
