Why did you apply to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Birmingham Dubai?

I applied to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Birmingham Dubai because of the high quality of education, as well as being a Top 100 university worldwide that would set me up for my future professional success.

What has your experience been like so far at UoBD?

My experience so far has been great. Not only have I been able to learn and grow academically, I have also been encouraged to take part in student activitues and take part in organising some as well.

What is the best thing about studying at UoBD?

On top of making great lifelong friends, the ability to work on projects and travel the world for competitions have been the best parts of my university experience. 

What do you like best about Dubai more generally?

I consider Dubai my home away from home. Having lived here my whole life, I have made great friendships and cultivated lifelong memories.

What has been your highlight of your time at the University so far?

I have had the opportunity to travel to Austria after winning a RedBull competition hosted at the University's new campus.
