The Action Research Network Conference brings together teachers connected with the University of Birmingham Dubai who share a commitment to improving teaching and learning through action research.
This year we are combining our annual ARN conference with our kick-off of the 2026-27 research cycle. Those who are interested in joining the network for this academic year are invited to hear more about the ARN, and meet those who have completed the research cycle through difficult circumstances. Every year, members of the ARN work collaboratively to explore research-informed approaches, refine classroom practice and enhance learning experiences for both educators and students. This conference gives an opportunity to understand what the ARN is about, and give a platform for teachers from a range of educational settings and curricula to share their research, experiences and insights.
The conference will feature alongside interactive workshops, thought-provoking discussions and networking opportunities. Together, these sessions will explore emerging trends in education while encouraging the exchange of ideas and best practice across the teaching community.
Whether you are looking to gain fresh perspectives, discover innovative classroom strategies or connect with like-minded professionals, this conference offers an inspiring opportunity for professional growth.
Join us on campus at the University of Birmingham Dubai in Academic City for a day dedicated to collaboration, reflection and excellence in education.
