A day in my life
My day includes lectures like English, Business, and Business Marketing. During long gaps, I spend time with friends. Afternoons are for more lectures and the library to get work done. The day ends with me going home and spending time with my family.
Why Birmingham Dubai?
I chose the University of Birmingham Dubai because it's known worldwide and offers a great education right here in Dubai, and it’s also close to where I live. Plus, my sister and family friends graduated from here, and it's ranked in the top 100 globally! The nice campus and mix of students also helped me decide.
I attended on-campus events; the Open Day was super helpful in understanding the course structure. Then, during Welcome Week, I went on a campus tour and a social event where I met current and new students. It made me feel much more prepared and excited to start my studies.
I chose to live and study in Dubai because, having been born and raised here in the UAE, it's truly my home, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. What I love most about Dubai is its vibrant, multicultural atmosphere and the incredible opportunities it offers, both academically and personally.
Why I chose to study Business Management with Marketing at Birmingham Dubai
I chose Business Management with Marketing because I'm fascinated by how businesses grow and connect with customers. At the University of Birmingham Dubai, this course stood out because of its practical approach and real-world case studies.
The chance to learn about both business strategies and marketing techniques was a perfect fit for my long-term goal of having my own bakery. Plus, the teaching style, which includes lots of group projects and hands-on experience, really appealed to me.
My Birmingham Dubai experience
The lectures are engaging, and I've made some amazing friends. I really enjoy baking and travelling in my free time, and I also create content for the uni. Campus life here is super vibrant!
Birmingham Dubai’s impact
Birmingham's Careers Network really helped me with internships and job opportunities. Plus, all the workshops and tutoring services boosted my understanding of tough subjects. The faculty was super accessible and supportive too!
I received a 30% scholarship, which was a huge help. Additionally, the University provided excellent academic support through workshops and one-on-one tutoring. Career services also offered guidance on internships and job opportunities.
