Our programme includes core modules, employability events, and advanced courses to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for managerial success in accounting and finance.
Experience a supportive university environment during your foundation year in Dubai, ensuring you’re ready to begin your undergraduate studies. When completed with at least 100 credits, you’re guaranteed progression to the BSc Business Management with Placement. You'll cover academic skills, quantitative methods for business and economics and more.
In your second year, complete 6 core modules and 4 compulsory Ministry of Education modules. Develop academic and business communication skills, master decision-making, and gain foundational knowledge in economics, accounting, and statistical analysis for a strong start to your degree.
In your third year, you'll focus on enhancing your employability with career-oriented modules and events. You can also begin to forge a global career by taking an international exchange at a number of our partner institutions across the world.
In your final year, you'll advance your knowledge with specialised courses in corporate finance, financial accounting, and management accounting. Customise your learning journey by choosing from electives such as financial statement analysis, professional development, or business analytics.

Your progress is assessed through various coursework and exams, including reports, essays, presentations, and computer assignments. Satisfactory performance is necessary to advance, with your final degree based on accumulated marks and credits from all years, focusing on your third and fourth-year achievements.
You can take an international exchange period in your second year at a number of partner institutions across the world.
The BSc Accounting and Finance course offers several exam exemptions from professional Accounting and Finance qualifications including:
Depending on the modules you study over the course of the degree and the results you obtain, you could secure exemptions from the ACCA exams, completion of which is required to become a chartered qualified accountant.
On successful completion of the Accounting and Finance course you may be eligible for exemptions from professional CIMA exams which need to be completed to gain chartered management accountant status.
In order to become a Chartered Accountant you need to complete some professional exams set by the ICAEW. On completion of the Accounting and Finance course depending on the modules you have studied and your performance you may qualify for exemptions.
To become a CPA, you will also need to satisfy CPA Australia’s required knowledge areas and have successfully completed the CPA Program examinations and the practical experience requirement.

Up to 10% of the cohort of students (with a max. of 10 students) will have the opportunity to undertake the second year of their programme in Birmingham. In order to be eligible for this opportunity, you will need to have achieved a weighted mean mark of 60% in your first year and will need to establish your right to study in the UK (via a visa if necessary). When in Birmingham, you will follow the programme requirements of the Birmingham-based version of the programme, as you will be temporarily transferred to that programme.

The Foundation Pathways are suitable if you've completed your high school education to a high standard and you'd normally require a foundation year before being eligible for first-year undergraduate entry to UK universities.
In order to undertake a programme of study here at the University, you will need to demonstrate that you have a good level of written and spoken English. You can demonstrate your level of English with IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or alternative qualifications.

The above fee applies to the Foundation Year only. Subsequent year's annual tuition fee for the programme will be AED 141,842/year for September 2026/January 2027 entry.
We charge an annual tuition fee (per year of study). The tuition fee will also be payable in subsequent years of your programme.
