Our modules are designed to provide you with the essential skills needed to boost your employability and achieve your professional goals.
Your first year introduces the foundations of marketing, communication, consumption, and culture. You’ll explore contemporary theories and practices while developing academic and employability skills. This year is designed to build your confidence and self-awareness, preparing you to think critically about the role of marketing within organisations and society.
In your second year, you’ll deepen your knowledge and begin to specialise. You’ll study consumer behaviour, marketing strategy, data-driven marketing, communications, and new technologies, while gaining practical experience through applied learning. This stage encourages you to connect theory with real-world contexts and develop the skills required for responsible, ethical, and sustainable marketing practice.
Your final year allows you to tailor your learning to your professional ambitions. You will complete accredited modules that can lead to Chartered Institute of Marketing certification, providing an industry-recognised qualification alongside your degree. The year culminates with a final project or dissertation, enabling you to showcase your expertise and readiness for a successful marketing career.

To secure your place at the University of Birmingham Dubai, you must meet both our general entry requirements and the specific criteria for your chosen course. Your application will be carefully reviewed by the course’s Admissions Tutor, who will determine if you will receive an offer.
3 A Levels. Typical offer AAB-BBB. GCSE Mathematics at grade 5/B and English at grade 6/B required.
General Studies not accepted as one of three A2s, but a good performance may be taken into account if you fail to meet the conditions of the offer and have General Studies as a fourth A2.
6,6,5 at Higher Level with a minimum of 32 points overall and SL/ HL Mathematics at 5.
In order to undertake a programme of study here at the University, you will need to demonstrate that you have a good level of written and spoken English. You can demonstrate your level of English with IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or alternative qualifications.
The University tuition fee covers the cost of your tuition, examination and graduation.
Full-time (September 2026) per year
We charge an annual tuition fee (per year of study). The tuition fee will also be payable in subsequent years of your programme.
Tuition fees can be paid in full or in three instalments per year of study.
