About: This Masterclass will help students understand how to critically think about and evaluate research materials which they use to form the basis on arguments in an academic essay. They will also find out more about sourcing good quality materials, what is meant by this term and how to identify them, as well as the types of sources they should avoid.

This session is a particularly good starting point if for students who are undertaking a longer research-based essay, such as the EPQ, for the first time and want to know more about finding reliable sources and how to include them in their essay.

Additional Information: Schools will be limited to 5 places for this class. Individual bookings can be made by students in Year 12 and 13.
