Attendee Requirements: This Masterclass Insight Day is suitable for Year 12 students with an interest in this area of study and work. 

About: This Technology Insight Day delivered in partnership with PwC will be an engaging, interactive and fun session, giving students the chance to develop a range of personal and professional skills as well as gaining confidence, getting an insight into careers and the applications of technology.

After a morning at the University of Birmingham giving insight into the technology-based courses we offer, including a spotlight on our Computer Science Degree Apprenticeship, students will head over to the PwC Regional Office in Birmingham City Centre. There, they will have lunch provided, meet current staff and take part in an interactive workshop focused on emerging technologies (such as VR, drones and 3-D Printing) and their applications in the real world.

Additional Information: Teachers and school staff are welcome to attend the morning session on the University of Birmingham campus, but the afternoon session at PwC offices is for students only. The cost of travel between UoB campus and PwC will be covered.
