Arts and Science Festival

The University of Birmingham’s Art & Science Festival is a celebration of research, culture and collaboration across campus and beyond.

The Cultural Engagement Team are excited to announce that the University of Birmingham’s seventh Arts & Science Festival will take place from June 2019, with a special programme running throughout the year, in celebration of the University’s striking new parkland, the Green Heart.

Arts & Science Festival will run alongside the Green Heart Festival, drawing on four seasonal themes: celebration (summer); change (autumn); illumination (winter) and hope (spring). The programme will showcase culture, research and collaboration at the University through talks, concerts, exhibitions, performances, workshops, screenings and special events.

The sixth Arts & Science Festival took place 12-18 March 2018. The festival is made up of talks, exhibitions, performances, workshops and screenings that showcase collaboration, research and ideas from the University of Birmingham to an ever-growing public audience.
