The Skinny - Film Screening

Join the University of Birmingham's Rainbow Network for our annual Black History Month celebration! This year we will be screening independent film "The Skinny", starring Jussie Smollett of "Empire" fame.

The Skinny is a 2012 film by Patrik-Ian Polk, a black gay filmmaker who is known for his works about the experiences of LGBT African-Americans. It is a romantic dramedy about a group of gay and lesbian friends reuniting at New York City Pride.

Staff, students, and community members welcome. Not suitable viewing for children - parental discretion advised.
