Black Histories in The Barber Collection

Students will be working with artist Dzifa Benson to critically research and unpick black histories in works in The Barber Institute’s collection. The students will then produce alternative labels/interpretation for the works which will be on display at this celebratory reception. There will also be a performance piece written by Dzifa.

This event is open to all staff and students at the University of Birmingham.
