BHM2019 - Let's Talk About Race: Poetry Competition

The theme of this year’s poetry competition is “Let’s Talk About Race…” and we are inviting you to submit a poem about this topic. Your poem is a chance to be creative and can be factual or fiction, funny or serious, but no more than 200 words!

You can submit your work under the following categories: Under 12s, 13s-17s and over 18s. When submitting your poem please include the title, your name, age, email address, and a contact number and send it to Beverley Maynard at the following email address: b.p.maynard@bham.ac.uk. Poems need to be sent by Wednesday 23rd October by 16.30.

Prizes will be awarded for the best poem in each age category.
