The College of Medical and Dental Sciences, University of Birmingham are hosting an evening of artistic provocations and discussion, exploring the experiences of Black, Asian and Minoritized Ethnic people working within the NHS.
Discover the Here To Stay exhibition by Inès Elsa Dalal, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the arrival of HMS Empire Windrush and the birth of the NHS. Hear the experiences of the Black, Brown and migrant nurses and midwives who have spoken out about their experiences of racism before, during and after the pandemic in an extract of the powerful documentary Exposed. Together we will reflect and call for change.

Accessibility information for this event
When visiting the building, we recommend that wheelchair users and those with limited mobility access the venue via Bridge Street, before entering through the North Entrance. This entrance is accessible by ramp and has fully automated doors for easy entry. You'll also find ramp access at the South Entrance, which is located off Bank Court.
