Family Morning the Magic of Trees - Image Reece Straw

Responding to our Print Bay Display, Taking Root, Georgina invites parents, carers and pre-schoolers to join her across a series of three practical, playful plant-dyeing sessions. She will share her learning about trees and their magical properties for dyeing natural materials. She will facilitate adults and children to play, make, look, touch and share their own knowledge and creative insight.

Sessions can be booked and enjoyed individually but participating as a group over the three sessions is encouraged, where possible.

We welcome babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers. We welcome parents and carers who want to feed their minds, stimulate their creativity and participate in art and making.

This series is designed for parents/carers and preschool ages children. Sessions will be held in person at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts and its surrounding site. Places can be booked one ticket per parent/carer with their child accompanying for free. Refreshments will be provided. Limited spaces, so booking is essential.
