Printmaking with Laura Onions

Join artist Laura Onions, as she explains the methods and printmaking approaches of Durer in a fun and interactive way.

Focusing on animal images in the exhibition, during this session the whole family will create their own relief prints, taking inspiration from the Barber’s exhibition, Dürer: The Making of a Renaissance Master. A brief tour of the exhibition will be followed by a hands-on session in which you’ll be creating your own designs and making a collective print together!

This workshop is designed to be done as a family, with adults accompanying children aged 7- 11. Please note that tickets are 1 per child, with the accompanying adult coming free. Limited spaces, so booking is essential. No experience necessary, and all materials will be provided.

Laura Onions is an artist based in the West Midlands. She is a lecturer in Fine Art with a focus on print at the University of Wolverhampton.
