Art and Poetry Workshop: A Dialogue of Identity

Calling all poetry lovers!..

Explore the link between the visual arts and poetry with renowned poet Philip Monks. The day will consist of a two-hour workshop, following a brief tour of the Barber's permanent collection. Participants will choose a work of art that inspires them an be guided to write poetry, based loosely on the theme of identity, and then share their work and ideas with the group. Part of the 'Art in the Heart' scheme, selected poems may be featured in a publication that will launch in autumn 2013. All levels of experience welcome.
